Bangkok is known as the Venice of the orient.  Homes along the
rivers have all kinds of plants including orchids growing over the
water - benefiting from the bright sun and high humidity.

Ken has just finished his newest talk:
    "Orchids of Thailand"
The talk features many photos of
orchids in their native habitat as well
as those native to Thailand currently
in cultivation.  If you'd like to learn
more about his talk or are interested
in having him speak to your
organization or group, visit our web

Even in the biggest city in Thailand, Bangkok,
orchids were everywhere.  In the hotel lobby,
on the dinner table, and even in the markets.
